”For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.“
2 Corinthians 8:9
What if the reason God makes us poor in spirit is because He wants others to be blessed through our brokenness and barrenness? This the path and pattern of our Savior. We know that in order to be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit we must be emptied of self-will and pride. We also know that we are blessed far more when we give ourselves in sacrifice and service to others.
God blessed our Men’s Bible Study this past Thursday as we looked at Exodus 31. Bezaleel was filled with the Spirit and wisdom. He was uniquely prepared by God to do the detailed workmanship of the Tabernacle. God used him and those who helped him to accomplish a great task for His glory.

God has things He wants to accomplish through us. Before He blesses us, He breaks us. His fullness comes out of our emptiness. May we humble ourselves before the Lord so He can lift us up in His time to accomplish eternal things.
You are loved and prayed for.
Sincerely,

Pastor Tim Cruse

“See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” Exodus 31:2-3
