“Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.” –Psalm 71:3

“What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer” is a comforting refrain. There is a God in Heaven who loves and cares for His children and provides a refuge that can be found no where else.

Many in this hour are looking for someone or something to provide relief to their cares. Drugs, alcohol, and unhealthy relationships are among the temporary refuges people seek after, only to be betrayed time and again.
